Vinyl Brick Siding Offers all the Appearance of Brick without the Expense

As a Midwest siding company with over 30 years in the business, Continental Siding in Kansas City is accustomed to helping homeowners select home improvement products that add beauty and value to their homes. In this respect, we’re fortunate to be in the vinyl and polymer siding business where there are many choices in colors and textures and styles. Almost any effect can be created – with lasting durability and curb appeal.

One of the frequent requests we receive here at Continental Siding is for vinyl brick siding. And we’re always happy to oblige, given how unique and attractive the product is on a home.

As a building material, genuine brick dates back many thousands of years – although the bricks they used back then were often fabricated from mud and dried in the sun before they were used to build with. The Romans built with the first fired bricks. They created great kilns to fire their bricks and went so far as to stamp each brick with a “maker’s mark” during production. Over the centuries, brick became a popular building material in Greece, Germany, Denmark, Poland, China, and Russia. And when settlers came to America, it wasn’t long before they began to build buildings and streets with bricks. Allen’s Brick House, which was built in 1665 in Virginia (just 45 years after the Mayflower first docked in New England), may be the oldest standing brick structure in the United States. Brick is a durable and long-lasting building material, so it’s not surprising that Allen’s Brick House looks almost as good today as the day it was built. Considering the time and trouble it must have taken to build such an impressive structure out of bricks, it’s a sure bet they would have appreciated high-quality vinyl brick siding back then.

Vinyl brick siding is a vinyl brick façade that affects the look and feel of real hand-laid brick. The vinyl brick siding product we offer is superior in quality all around – from the use of a high-quality copolymer that resists warping, impact, and discoloration, to the high-tech injection molding process. And, unlike real hand-laid brick, you can get vinyl brick siding from Continental Siding in a variety of different colors. You can get vinyl brick siding in traditional brick red, as well as shades of gray, brown, and white. In addition, there are a few combination colors available: a red and black brick variety, and a mixed reds variety.

As with many vinyl and polymer siding products from Continental Siding in Kansas City, the vinyl brick siding products are low maintenance and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Each vinyl brick siding product we offer affords the homeowner all the benefits of a realistic brick-front appearance for their home, without all of the costs associated with hand-laying real brickwork.
